Technical Talkback – with Framesi Australia's Technical Team
TECHNICAL TIP
BURN-OUT
If a permanent colour is left on the hair for longer than the manufacturers' recommended development time, the peroxide will have a slight bleaching effect and reduce the artificial colouring agent, producing a slightly lighter result at the roots than intended. This is known as burn-out. It will also affect the hair's condition - so never let it happen.
